With the support of Buford Church of God, Joey Grizzle oversees missions projects all around the world. Missionaries from the church are tirelessly working in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Congo, Uganda, Sri Lanka, Honduras, Jamaica, Haiti, Kenya, Ukraine, Romania and local projects in our own community. The Gospel is being preached in areas where it is not welcome, local pastors and churches are being built up along with many other exciting projects including relief being given to impoverished areas. Every December, Joey leads a team to Ukraine to deliver Christmas gifts to many orphanages that the church supports.
About Joey
Joey Grizzle is minister known for his bold and unapologetic approach to the Word of God. Joey and Mia Grizzle were married in 1996, and have two boys also serving in ministry. Together, Joey and Mia have served as the lead pastors of Waynesboro Church of God, Monroe Church of God, and now Buford Church of God. For the past 13 years, his vision for Buford Church of God has been to build a church where generations gather to experience the river of God's glory. This is exactly what happens each week with a time of powerful worship, and a Spirit-filled sermon as Joey preaches the Word of God. The church is engaged in missions work all around the globe, supporting churches and orphanages in countries such as Kenya, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Romania, Ukraine, and more. When Joey and Mia are home, you will often find them in the Great Smoky Mountains enjoying God's creation.
